God's Words

Waiting for God’s providence

“Waiting on God does not mean doing nothing, it means waiting on God’s table. It entails serving, obeying God’s instructions. God will order more at his table than any other tables. The Lord Says COME WAIT AT MY TABLE.”

These words can be interpreted as a metaphor of faithfulness and obedience to God. The Bible teaches that God is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and that He invites us to His table to enjoy His presence and His provision. He also expects us to serve Him and to follow His commands, as His loyal and loving subjects. He promises to reward us with more blessings than we can imagine, both in this life and in the eternal life to come.

The Wisdom of Waiting on God says that waiting can provide an opportunity to deepen our trust and dependence on Him, and that when we follow God’s timetable, He gives us the grace to endure difficult situations with confidence and peace. It helps us know how to take our place at God’s table of blessing. and that we must stop talking about how unworthy we are and take a heaping helping of the grace that belongs to us. To take our place at His table, we must lay hold of God’s promises and be fully persuaded that what He has promised belongs to us.

Here are some verses from the Bible that encourages you further. For instance, Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Revelation 19:9: “Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God. Acts 6:2: “So the Twelve summoned all the disciples and said, “It is unacceptable for us to neglect the word of God in order to wait on tables. “John 14:15: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. Matthew 25:21: “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness.

Obeying God’s instruction is a way of showing our love and trust in Him. The Bible says in John 14:15, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” It also says in 1 Samuel 15:22, “To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than fat and rams.

When we serve and obey God, we experience His blessings and rewards in our lives. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:1-2, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.”

Serving and obeying God is not always easy, but it is always worth it. The Bible says in Hebrews 12:11, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”
